It was ok, for the price. It was easy to use but it didn't keep my arm/shoulder secured good enough.

I woke up in this after a total reverse shoulder replacement. Extremely uncomfortable, not adjusted correctly was my first opinion, but after a few days when all my pain killers and Anastasia wore off, I realized it could not be adjusted any other way. I woke up in this after a total reverse shoulder replacement. Extremely uncomfortable, not adjusted correctly was my first opinion, but after a few days when all my pain killers and Anastasia wore off, I realized it could not be adjusted any other way. It is a size large, I'm 5'1, 112 lbs. I asked my Dr about it and his reply was "that's the only size the company sends us". Very bad reputation for a company. Now for the review. There's enough velcro on this to hold a 100lb brick to a ceiling. It cannot be adjusted (even if it was the right size) by yourself. Straps are too long, with velcro that sticks to 90% of the material on the entire sling. Pull it off the strap and it gets stuck to another part. Also have to reach around your back to reach the velcro to pull it off. Velcro has very rough edges that poke in the neck. Neck pad gets stuck on the velcro and cannot be moved appropriately. Waist strap is the same way. I guess there's a thumb strap, but my small arm was 3 inches away from it and I could never get the arm casing tight to hold my arm in place. Entire thing is heavy. Attached pillow cannot be adjusted without taking it off and by a second person. Heavy duty material would be hot in summer, but it shouldn't fall apart. Show less

This product arrived.stinking of cigarette smoke and had been used. Very upsetting considering this is something people use after surgery. Totally grossed out. Buyer beware

I got the Ultrasling Pro from my shoulder surgery and wanted a second sling that would be for inside/sleeping only. I tried to save some money and bought this one instead of the Pro. After a few hours, I realized I made a mistake. Don’t underestimate the comfort from the around the other arm sling style on the Pro. Also, the abduction pillow is a lot harder and less comfortable. If you sweat, this sling will smell really bad. My husband had this sling after his total shoulder replacement surgery. I washed it with Woolite but it didn’t get rid of the smell. If you sweat, this sling will smell really bad. My husband had this sling after his total shoulder replacement surgery. I washed it with Woolite but it didn’t get rid of the smell. Right now it’s soaking in Oxiclean & Woolite - we’ll see. I agree with the negative comments made. It’s is very uncomfortable on the neck & when he tries to sleep & you would not be able to put this on yourself. My husband doesn’t want to wear any sling now, which is not recommended. Disappointed. There is crease (raised abnormality) in material where my wrist fits in the sling. There is crease (raised abnormality) in material where my wrist fits in the sling. This crease (which I didn’t initially feel due to having a nerve block in place after shoulder surgery) caused my hand and fingers to go numb and turn white and blue due to the pressure on my nerves running through my wrist. This condition was quite scary and is now still resolving at five months post op. Show less
