Cutimed Epiona is a sterile collagen-alginate dressing composed of predominantly native bovine collagen combined with calcium alginate. Its open-pore 3D matrix closely resembles human dermis and acts as a scaffold to support tissue regeneration in wounds that have stalled or are slow to heal. It is indicated for diabetic ulcers, venous leg ulcers, pressure injuries, trauma wounds, surgical wounds, and other partial- and full-thickness wounds free of necrotic tissue.
