Are these gentle enough for a newborn or sensitive skin?
They are made with no fragrance, essential oils or dyes, and are alcohol and paraben free. The formula is pH 6.0 and the fabric is 100% viscose. As with any new product, try a wipe on a small area first if your baby has very reactive skin.
Why does a 99% water wipe need other ingredients?
Water on its own does not stay fresh in a sealed pack. Sodium benzoate and ethylhexylglycerin help keep the wipes fresh from the first wipe to the last. Glycerin adds softness, decyl glucoside helps lift sticky messes, and citric acid with sodium citrate keep the formula balanced.
