Medline Island Dressing with Water-Resistant Backing
Medline island dressings are sterile, bordered gauze dressings designed for wound care applications. These dressings feature a three-layer construction that allows for versatile use as either a primary or secondary dressing.
Three-Layer Construction
- Nonadherent contact layer protects the wound site and will not stick to granulating tissue
- Soft pad absorbs drainage and cushions the wound area
- Water-resistant nonwoven backing with adhesive border securely holds the dressing in place
Available in a 4 x 5 inch rectangle format with a 2 x 2-1/2 inch absorbent pad. These sterile dressings are suitable for various wound care needs where protection, absorption, and secure adhesion are required.
