Parafilm® M Sealing Film
Parafilm® M is a semi-transparent, flexible thermoplastic sealing film designed for laboratory applications. This moisture-proof film provides a tight seal for various glassware including test tubes, beakers, vials, petri dishes, and flasks.
Key Characteristics
- Moisture-proof film molds to surfaces with two-way stretch capability
- Non-toxic and free from plasticizers, composed of polyolefins and paraffin waxes
- Offers resistance against acids, alkalis, and some organic solvents
- Stretches more than 200% of original length for versatile application
- Resistant up to 48 hours against polar substances including saline solutions, inorganic acids, and alkaline solutions
- Odorless, colorless, and semi-transparent material
Available in multiple size options to accommodate different laboratory needs. Note: Use is not recommended with acetone, diethyl ether, or tetrachlorid.
